Gift for a Gamecock

I had the pleasure of creating a surprise Christmas gift for the mother of Carolina Gamcock Player - Brandon Wilds #22.  (I am a Clemson fan and even I know Brandon!)  My husband Scott works with Brandon's mother Regina.  (Who is as sweet as they come!)  She had already ordered a Gamecock scarf from me.  But, once I figured out how to monogram the scarves, Scott really wanted to surprise her with a scarf monogrammed with Brandon's number.  So we did!

I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

Molly & Monogramming

Molly, as in my sweet niece Molly and Monogramming as in I am now offering ruffle scarfs available with monograms!

Molly celebrated her birthday last week and as a present I made her a monogrammed scarf.  I hope she likes it as much as I enjoyed making it for her.

Ruffle Dresses

I love these Ruffle dresses for the Winter.  They are cute and comfortable enough to pair with leggings, but because they are ruffled, they can easily be dressed up with tights! 

Pictures show the Peppermint ruffle (Red & White alternating ruffles) and the Hot Pink ruffle (with alternating Hot Pink and Red ruffles).  Both would be great for the Holidays but would work all the way through Valentine's!

Dresses are sized from 18 mth - 5T.  $48 each (includes monogramming)



It's Game Day!

It's Saturday and that can mean only one thing... It's Game Day!  And if you are in South Carolina that means Clemson vs. Carolina.  I live in a house divided, so I know a thing or two about the rivalry.  We keep the peace most of the time, but now that the kids are getting in on the action (Garrett is for USC and Ashlynn is for Clemson) the rivalry is starting to heat up.

Regardless, I think it is great that both teams have played so well this year and been ranked so high nationally.  I am looking forward to a great game.  Now the only choice I need to make it do I wear my Orange scarf over a purple top, my Purple scarf over an orange top or the Clemson scarf (seen below).  I know some of my Gamecock friends will be sporting their Gamecock scarves!

Ashlynn will be sporting her Clemson Gameday Ruffle dress!  Garrett, well, it is hard to do something ruffled for a boy... so I guess it will be a jersey for him!

Christmas Craft Fair

I am excited to participate in the Lexington Christmas Craft Fair this Saturday from 8-2.  The Fair is at Lexington Middle School.  I will be there with my scarves and ballet wraps ready to go.  They make great gifts for family, friends and the little ones.  I will also be taking orders for ruffle dresses and skirts.  I hope to see you Saturday!

Scott and I went to the USC game last weekend.  The perfect gameday accessory?  Why the Gamecock Ruffle Scarf, of course!  Perfect for tailgate or just for around town.

So Jennifer at Little Gym

Ruffles Scarves are now available!

Just in time for the crisp football tailgates and gift giving for the Christmas Holidays, I introduce the new Ruffle Scarves!  I couldn't be more excited about how they turned out.  The scarves come in a variety of colors that add a "punch" of color to your outfit.

Pretty Ballerinas

I wanted to share with you some of the prettiest ballerinas I know.  They are helping me show you the Ballet coverups for both Toddlers and Youth.  Could they (or the coverups) be any cuter?

Toddler Coverups are already available on Etsy.  I hope to have the Youth listed by the weekend.  As always, you don't have to wait for Etsy, I take custom orders by phone and email. 

Youth Coverups will be available in Pink, Black, Cinderella Blue and Turquoise ruffles.



New Clemson Skirt

Just finished another custom Ladies' Clemson skirt in a new color combination.  This is the first chance I have had to use the Orange & White striped ruffles and I love the way they turned out.  The purple band is just the pop of color it needed.  Cute, huh!

Ballet wraps - In Progress

I wanted to give you a sneek peak at the color combinations I am working on for my Ballet Ruffle Wraps.  They will be available in both Toddler and Youth sizes.  I hope to have them up on Etsy in the next week, but as always, if you see something you like or have an idea for something, contact me.  I love creating for you!

Clemson Girl Promotion

Call me crazy!  I was so busy with the promotion/giveaway with Clemsongirl.com on Tuesday... that I completely forgot to come over here to the blog to post!  So Sorry!!!

Today we have an exciting giveaway from a Clemson alum owned, new business, So Jennifer Boutique – an online boutique offering women’s and children’s custom skirts and little girl dresses.

First, meet boutique owner Jennifer Capell – a ’97 Clemson alum who majored in Accounting. She was a Clemson Rally Cat her Junior and Senior years. She told us that she love, love, loved cheering on the Tigers and that being on the football field and the basketball court was exhilarating. She says that now her heart sings whenever she gets the opportunity to get back to campus and be surrounded by orange, purple and the Clemson spirit!

Jennifer is in a house divided – her husband roots for that other South Carolina team – and she has two children that she’s raising as Tiger fans, although she says her son will sometimes root for the Gamecocks…but her daughter, Ashlynnn, is a Tiger fan all the way!

Her daughter Ashlynn was Jennifer’s inspiration to start So Jennifer Boutique – Jennifer was always on the hunt for cute outfits for Ashlynnn and eventually decided to learn to make them herself, despite never having sewn a stitch in her life. After a few sewing classes, Jennifer discovered she had a new found passion (and talent) for creating cute new outfits for Ashlynn, and then eventually for herself too.

One day, Jennifer ran across this orange ruffle fabric. She immediately thought about Clemson and how fun it would be to make a skirt for Ashlynnn in Clemson colors using the fabric. So with the orange ruffle fabric and a purple elastic waistband, the Clemson Ruffle Skirt was born.

Jennifer continued to come up with more skirt designs and soon started creating dresses and other unique outfits – so she created So Jennifer Boutique to be able to share her cute designs with everyone.

So Jennifer Boutique’s hottest item is of course the ruffle skirt – available in toddler, youth AND adult sizes. Skirts are custom made to you or your child's measurements. They are available in orange and in purple of course – but you can also get it in other colors.
